|Making A Purchase|
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.
Orders can be placed either online or over the telephone. In both cases Credit and Debit Card payments are processed using a desktop terminal. Your Credit / Debit card will not be charged until your order is ready for despatch.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

ORDERS TO DESTINATIONS OUTSIDE OF UK WILL INCUR A MINIMUM OF £25.00 CARRIAGE CHARGE
Deliveries to offshore UK addresses may also incur additional charges but we will contact you before we process your order and advise you of this.
We have been able to eliminate carriage charges to UK addresses, however we can only offer a next day delivery at extra cost. Using our preferred method of delivery our usual delivery time is 4 - 5 days from date of order.
We also reserve the right to decide the best method of transport for your order and it will be one of the following carriers
Royal Mail, Myhermes couriers or Interlink Express
Orders will normally be despatched within 3 - 5 working days subject to stock being available.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20.0% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
All products excluding lamps and tubes come with a minimum 12 month guarantee. Fumagalli products come with an additional Lifetime Guarantee against corrosion. Without exception Guarantees exclude lamps of any type.
